In its Q1 2025 earnings report, CD Projekt RED has revealed updated sales figures for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. The critically acclaimed expansion has sold 10 million copies as of May 28th, 2025, which includes standalone and Ultimate Edition bundle sales.

Its last milestone was last November, where it sold over eight million units. The base game sold 30 million copies by the same period, but it’s likely higher now when factoring in the Ultimate Edition. Of course, there may be a significant jump in sales for both when Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition launches on June 5th for Nintendo Switch 2.

A sequel, Project Orion, is in development, with series creator Mike Pondsmith confirming a new city described as “Chicago gone wrong.” Night City is still present, but it’s unknown if players will explore it.
