Halo Announcement Planned for October – Rumour

Halo Project Foundry

In October last year, Halo Studios – formerly known as 343 Industries – announced that it was shifting engines to Unreal Engine 5, and that it had multiple new Halo titles in development to go along with that major internal shift. One of those projects could potentially be announced in the relatively near future, according to recent claims.

As per leaker Rebs Gaming, a major Halo announcement is planned for later this year. In a recently uploaded video, the YouTuber claimed that Halo Studios will have a big announcement planned for the Halo World Championships in October. Given that that was the venue last year where Halo Studios announced its rebrand, its engine switch, and the fact that it was working on multiple new Halo titles, there’s a chance that we get to see the next big game in the sci-fi shooter series gets unveiled (or at least teased) at this year’s event.

Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted on new information as it comes our way.

Earlier this month, Halo Studios released a new update for Halo Infinite, adding a new weapon called the Mutilator, as well as new playlists, operations, and more. Read more on that through here.
