Gex Trilogy Announced for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch

Gex Trilogy

Limited Run Games has announced the Gex Trilogy, a collection of titles starring Gex the Gecko, is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The trilogy is being released in collaboration with Square Enix, which owns the IP. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The titles in question are Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, first released on PlayStation One in the 1990s. Gex would later release on 3D0, PC and Sega Saturn, while Enter the Gecko and Deep Cover Gecko were ported to Nintendo Switch 64 and Game Boy Color.

All three titles are platformers developed by Crystal Dynamics, with Gex played by comedian Dana Gould and focused on various pop culture and media references. The series sold over 15 million units as of 2015. A fourth title for PS2 and Nintendo GameCube was in the works before being cancelled.
