Developer Avalanche Software has revealed that it currently has no plans of releasing DLC for Hogwarts Legacy. Speaking to IGN at its Fan Fest, game director Alan Tew said that the studio was busy in preparing for the full release of Hogwarts Legacy last week, and it hasn’t made any DLC or expansion plans yet.
“We’ve been really heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life,” Tew said to IGN, “so at the moment there are no current plans for DLC.”
Since its release, Hogwarts Legacy has certainly seen a fair number of updates that largely revolve around fixing bugs and improving performance on various platforms. The game also got a series of trailers leading up to its release, including one detailing ray tracing and performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Hogwarts Legacy was released on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on February 10. The game has launched to massive commercial success, topping sales charts all over the world. It recently topped the weekly physical sales charts in Japan, and exceeded sales of Elden Ring in the UK physical charts by 80 percent.
