Microsoft Gaming CEO Will Discuss “Our Vision for Xbox’s Future” Next Week
Following rumors of Xbox exclusives like Starfield, Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle coming to other consoles like PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has confirmed a business update event for next week. “We look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned.”
Microsoft was rumored to reveal its new multiplatform plan before the end of the fiscal year (February end). It possibly fast-tracked plans based on recent reports and increasing concern from fans.
Other first-party Xbox titles reportedly coming to PS5 include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, which launches on May 21st for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Gears of War is also reportedly under consideration, though it’s still up in the air, and it’s unknown which title. Perhaps that long-rumored Gears of War Remastered Collection?
The original leak also claimed Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and the next game from id Software (allegedly DOOM: Year Zero) would also arrive on PS5. As always, stay tuned for more details and updates.
We’re listening and we hear you. We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned.
