Overwatch 2 Season 15 is Live With Perks, Loot Boxes, and Limited-Time Event

Overwatch 2’s fifteenth season, Honor and Glory, is now live and the biggest in a while, heralding the return of Loot Boxes alongside the addition of Perks. There’s a new Premium Battle Pass, which includes a new Mythic skin for Zenyatta, but Perks are the most game-changing system the hero shooter has seen in a long time.

Players can have two Minor Perks in a match and one Major Perk, with progress earned by dealing damage, healing, and slaying the opposition. These perks offer some pretty unique changes to a hero’s playstyle like D.Va gaining 75 temporary overhealth on ejecting and converting 150 HP to shields with Defense Matrix restoring them based on 25 percent damage absorbed.

Unlike Ultimates, you won’t gain any progress towards another hero’s perks when swapping – it’s back to level 1. However, perk progress will remain, so you can always swap back.

To further celebrate the addition of Perks is the Perked Up Event, available until April 22nd. Players can earn up to 10 Loot Boxes weekly and unlock the Rainy Day Mercy skin for free. You’ll need to play up to 15 games, with wins providing more progress.
