Palworld was without doubt among the biggest success stories (and games) of 2024, and nearly two months into the new year, the survival title is reaching new milestones.
Pocketpair has announced that Palworld has crossed 32 million players across all platforms. Thatâs up from 25 million as of February last year. Per the developer, the game was developed on a budget of just $6.7 million and has made âtens of billions of yenâ in profit.
Palworld originally launched in early access for Xbox consoles and PC in January last year before also releasing for PS5 in September. It has received a couple of major content updates since its release in the form of the Sakurajima and Feybreak updates, which both added new regions, Pals, features, and more.
Last month, Pocketpair also shared a 2025 roadmap for upcoming updates. That said, the studio insists it doesnât intend to adopt a live service post-launch model.
Palworld is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Developer Pocketpair is currently being sued by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company over alleged patent infringement.
